Instructions
First download and install the Motorola USB drivers on your computer. Drivers are required to your computer to the phone as Motorola for detection.
Download and save the Droid 3 just following script files on your computer. Extract the file to your computer. You can download additional software such as WinZip or 7zip. Place the extracted files in a folder, but not rename or edit the extracted files.
Enable USB debugging on the phone. To do this, you're in Settings> Applications> Debugging Development> USB and make sure there is a checkmark next to "debugging USB".
Connect your phone to your PC via a cable USB. If the phone prompts you to log in, choose the fee only.
Open the folder where you extracted the files from the root.
Start the "click to your root Droid 3.bat" file and follow the onscreen instructions.
Start to unlock the phone with the device.
